While Slide may be a new name to you, we are not new to insurance. We were founded in 2021 in Tampa, FL, by industry veterans who understand the Florida market.

General/Underwriting
How do you know if an insured was acquired by Slide?
Slide has acquired renewal rights to all of Farmers®-branded Florida HO3 and HO6 policies.
What happens now?
- Approximately 120 days prior to the expiration of the insured’s Farmers® policy, Farmers® will send a Notice of Non-Renewal. Farmers® will advise insureds a renewal offer will come from Slide.
- Ahead of their expiration date, a renewal offer from Slide will be provided to the customer.
- Once renewed, the policy will be accessed and managed in Slide’s agent portal.
How do I access policies acquired by Slide?
- The Farmers® policies will remain in the Farmers® portal until their renewal with Slide.
- After you complete the Slide appointment process, login credentials to Slide’s agent portal will be emailed to you.
- The first Slide renewals will be effective 2/17/2024.
Will the policy # change from Farmers® to Slide?
Yes, upon renewal.
Does the insured have to submit new inspections or complete an application?
No, a new application, wind mitigation inspection, or 4-point inspection is not required.
Endorsements
How do I submit endorsement requests or policy changes to Farmers® policies acquired by Slide?
- Prior to the agent’s termination date with Farmers® , policy changes and endorsements to a policy accessible on the Farmers® portal can be processed through the Farmers® systems. After an agent’s termination from Farmers®, customers may reach out directly to the Farmers service team.
- If the policy is on the Slide portal, endorsement requests can be emailed to policyservices@slideinsurance.com.
Will AOR change requests be accepted?
No, AOR changes are not available at this time.
How does Farmers®-branded HO3 policy compare/differ from Slide?
- Renewal offers will be generated with the same or similar coverage options to the expiring Farmers® policy. No optional endorsements will be included automatically.
- At renewal, to add the Screen Enclosure Hurricane Endorsement, alter the $10,000 Limited Water Damage Exclusion, or make any other coverage changes, an endorsement request must be emailed to policyservices@slideinsurance.com.
How does Farmers®-branded HO6 policy compare/differ from Slide?
- Renewal offers will be generated with the same or similar coverage options to the expiring Farmers® policy. No optional endorsements will be included automatically.
- At renewal, to make any coverage changes, an endorsement request must be emailed to policyservices@slideinsurance.com.
Payment Questions
What payment options are available?
Payments will continue to be made payable to Farmers® until the policy renews with Slide.
Upon renewal, payment will be made payable to Slide. Slide offers full pay, 2 pay, and 4 payment options.
Do I need to notify my customers’ mortgage company?
No, Slide will notify the mortgage company and provide all required information. If their mortgage company pays their insurance premium, Slide will send the invoice to the mortgage company for payment.
Claims
What is the process for claims prior to the Farmers® non-renewal date?
For assistance with an existing claim or to file a claim with a DOL prior to the end of the Farmers® policy period, visit Farmers® website.
What phone number do agents call with questions regarding claims with a DOL on or after the effective date of the Slide policy?
For claims with a DOL on or after the effective date of the Slide policy call (866) 230-3758.
Should I contact Slide about open Farmers® claim(s)?
No. For inquiries on claims with a DOL prior to the Farmers® expiration, please refer to Farmers® for assistance.
